ERA Department Stores COVID – 19 Safety Measures

The ERMES Group, prioritizing the health of its customers and staff, gives immediate importance to all the protection measures and the personal hygiene instructions of the Ministry of Health by implementing the following health and safety measures:

1. Disinfection and cleaning of all common areas, on all surfaces, carts, baskets and vents where possible during the day
2. All safety and health instructions are followed based on government instructions from all store staff to protect both themselves and our customers
3. Installation of antiseptic solutions in entrances – exits and inside the stores as well as disposable gloves
4. Controlled entry of number of customers in stores based on square meters and number of staff
5. Informing customers about the mandatory implementation of hygiene measures when entering the store
6. It is necessary to maintain a safety distance of 2 meters between staff and customers. Please note the wearing of a face covering is compulsory across all stores following government instructions.
7. Cashier desks are disinfected at regular intervals
8. We encourage our customers to use a bank card for payment when they arrive at the cash register, if possible
9. Bakery and confectionery are pre-packaged or safely covered
10. Each store has a specially trained emergency response team
